ABOUT ME
My name is Veronica and I am a chef from Bergamo, Italy. After graduating in Languages
and Cultural Mediation at the State University of Milan, I dedicated myself to cooking and discovering new cultures.
I have a real passion for foreign languages and I’m fluent in Russian, English, German,
Portuguese and Spanish. These has allowed me to travel and work in many countries
around the world. After an experience as head chef in New Zealand, I returned to Italy
and I continued my culinary studies at Cast Alimenti in Brescia, obtaining a diploma in
'High-level chef‘.
With a particular focus on healthy cooking/cuisine, I continued to travel the world,
collaborating with restaurants, hotels, gourmet shops, and wine shops.
In my work I always try to combine flavors, local ingredients, and techniques that are as traditional, as they are innovative and anti-waste, creating balanced and tasty dishes.
I am currently specializing in the study and use of wild herbs, attending the Foraging
Academy of Valeria Margherita Mosca; I always try to integrate them into my professional activity, in from a sustainable perspective.
The cultural approach is a central element of my work. Both During my dinners, as and in my courses, I try to offer my guests a complete and engaging experience, telling the story of food and its impact on health and well-being. I love to get people close to culture through cooking.
